Collin Pertuit

Coach

Collin obtained his Level 1 in February of 2024. Collin began his CrossFit journey in 2020 and through the years, his passion for the sport has continued to grow, and it is now how he spends most of his free time.
Collin was born in Covington and currently resides in Madisonville. As a graduate of LSU holding a degree in Civil Engineering, he currently works at a local engineering firm. Collin has developed a passion for seeing people get fit and push themselves further than they thought was possible. He is excited to be apart of the CFM team and bring the knowledge he has gained to all CFM members. Collin’s goal is to help people become the fittest version of themselves.

Emily McElrath

HYROX trainer

Emily is a native of New Orleans and despite moving away for a time, she found her home back in NOLA when it was time to raise her family. Emily is a former collegiate runner, turned CrossFitter, who has a passion for helping people optimize performance. In her day job, Emily is an orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist. She has a special interest in helping pregnant and postpartum women feel confident and empowered through exercise in these stages of life. She loves dispelling the myth that high intensity exercise is not safe during pregnancy. While not working, she enjoys time with her husband, two kids, and three dogs!

Katy Bordes

CrossFIt gymnastics trainer

Katy is a Level 2 CrossFit trainer as well as a CrossFIt gymnastics trainer. She grew up in Slidell and went to LSU and UNO, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood and elementary education. She has two children – Noah and Camryn. She now lives in Mandeville and teaches Kindergarten.

Teaching has always been a passion for Katy and, after starting CrossFit in 2015, she knew she wanted to get into coaching. She earned her Level 1 in 2017 and began coaching in Slidell at CrossFit FYR. Katy enjoys learning new things and added the gymnastics certification and Level 2 to her coaching experience. After moving to Mandeville and making CFM her new home, Katy is excited to bring her knowledge and enthusiasm to all of the members! Fun fact: Katy met her fiancé, Aaron, at CFM and will get married at the end of 2025.

BRITTANY OATSVALL

Level 1 and Owner

Brittany grew up in the Covington area and graduated from Northlake Christian School. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University. Brittany is a Licensed Professional Counselor and firmly believes in the importance of physical activity as it related to ones overall mental health. As a mother of two, she realized the need for postpartum fitness and developed our momMEfit program. Brittany and her mother, Lisa, work side by side developing and growing our community.

Jacob Stolzle

COACH

Jacob is a Level 2 Crossfit Trainer with additional certifications in Olympic Lifting and Crossfit Kids. In addition to coaching, he is also a full-time Fire Captain/EMT with St. Tammany Fire District 2 and is passionate about his career.

A Memphis, TN native, Jacob attended Christian Brothers High School where he played soccer. Jacob studied business at the University of Mississippi, where he met his wife, Elise. They live in Madisonville with their two daughters, Mackenzie and Avery. The Stolzle girls have picked up the Crossfit lifestyle and enjoy gymnastics, rope climbing and coming up with their own workouts.

“I started Crossfit for my firefighting career. I swore an oath to be ready physically and mentally and that’s what Crossfit gave me. Crossfit methods of constant variance at high intensity has prepared me for my job as a firefighter. I became a Crossfit coach to help people realize their potential and through fitness and nutrition they can achieve anything in life. The best part of coaching goes far beyond teaching people how to move correctly, it is connecting with your athletes and building their trust to help them with the overall goal of becoming happier and healthier.”

Fernando Puig

HYROX Trainer

Fernando is a passionate CrossFit coach dedicated to helping individuals, including kids, achieve their fitness goals and unlock their full potential. With his experience in the fitness industry and as a collegiate soccer player, he has developed a deep understanding of the CrossFit methodology and its transformative power.
As a certified CrossFit Kids coach, Fernando specializes in coaching young athletes, guiding them towards a healthier and more active lifestyle. Creating a fun and engaging environment that fosters teamwork, builds confidence, and instills a lifelong love for fitness. Whether it’s teaching proper technique, coordinating exciting workouts, or encouraging personal growth, he is committed to nurturing the physical and mental well-being of every person that comes to CrossFit Mandeville.

Megan Bremond

Coach

Megan is a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer, Adaptive and Inclusive Trainer, and is certified in Precision Nutrition. Megan grew up in Slidell and attended The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, graduating in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in Hotel and Tourism Management.

Megan started her CrossFit career in 2010 at CrossFit Nola. She may have taken a few breaks here and there, but ultimately realized this was her passion and knew she wanted to do so much more with it.

Recently quitting her day job, Megan created an Adaptive and Inclusive CrossFit program, iFit, available to anyone with different intellectual or physical abilities. Inspired by her daughters Piper (7) and Sunnie (3), who rocks that extra chromosome, she wanted to create a space where her daughters knew they could do anything anyone else did.

“I want the adaptive community to know they can lift heavy weights, they can do hard things, and they can probably do it better and faster than anyone imagined. To me CrossFit has introduced me to people, events, places and a mindset I will always be grateful for. I’ve learned so much about myself and hope to inspire others.”

Rachael Bardy

Coach

Rachael is a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer. A local resident, she graduated from Covington High School and studied Business at Southeastern Louisiana University. Recently turning in her corporate shoes, she is now a stay at home mom. Rachael and her husband, Brad, live in Abita Springs with their son, Bennett. Rachael has been active in the CrossFit community for four years and earned her Level 1 in 2014. With what started out as a personal fitness goal, quickly developed into a passion for assisting others. “Helping others also aids me in accomplishing my own personal goals, inside and outside of the box. The highlight of my career has been the friendships that I have developed, and seeing how a community can come together.” Her favorite part of coaching is helping others find confidence in themselves; there’s no better feeling than reaching a new PR. That look on your face, that scream of excitement says it all!

Bill Leahy

Coach

Bill Leahy is the youngest member of our coaching staff. Being only 20 years old, he recently graduated from high school, and began to dive deep into CrossFit. Bill is the nephew to owner, Lisa, so while he has been around CrossFit for many years, he began his own CrossFit journey in May of 2020. Bill got his Level 1 certification in November of 2020, Level 2 in August of 2021 and has enjoyed coaching classes and building relationships with the people in our box. He is focused on competing in CrossFit events and becoming a better athlete himself. He has competed in the Coyote Classic, Pensacola Beach Brawl, Coyote Winter Classic, and WODGODZ IV placing in the top spots. Bill also finished 10th place in the CrossFit Semifinals in 2022. He is passionate about sharing his love for CrossFit with the community and hopes to continue to help members choose a healthy lifestyle.

Lisa Grab

HYROX Trainer

Lisa is a Level 1 and Level 2 CrossFit Trainer, certified in CrossFit Olympic Lifting, a CrossFit Rowing Trainer and Concept2 Instructor, a Kettle Bell Instructor, and Resistance Band Certified. In addition to coaching full time, she is also the Business Manager and part owner of CFM. Lisa, her husband (Johnny) and son-in-law, Brian, have been a part of CrossFit Mandeville for 10+ years and took ownership in 2016. Lisa earned her Crossfit training certification in February of 2012. She coaches the SkinnyFit class at 9 a.m. and heads our women’s bible study. Lisa has a heart for women and desires to reach them where they currently are and aid them in their physical and spiritual growth. Lisa believes whole-heartedly that Crossfit can change people’s life for the better. She resides in Ponchatoula with her husband, Johnny.

Brian Oatsvall

Owner

Brian is from Mobile, AL and has lived in Mandeville since 2006. He received his undergraduate and MBA from The University of Alabama. Brian discovered CrossFit in 2010 and later obtained his Level 1 Certification in 2015. That same year he participated in the CrossFit Open and finished 68th in the world in his age division. Brian has valued fitness his entire life and is a firm believer that fitness can be attained no matter the age. Brian’s favorite part of CrossFit is working out with his wife, Brittany (whom he met at CrossFit Mandeville) while their two little ones enjoy watching mom and dad lift the big weights!
